Pain and Older Adults
You’ve probably been in pain at one time or another. Maybe you’ve had a headache or a bruise — pain that doesn’t typically last too long. But many older adults have ongoing pain from health problems such as arthritis, shingles, diabetes, or cancer. Pain can be your body’s way of warning you that something is wrong.
