This is a picture of Kiyo. Kiyo was born in Japan and came to America when she was young. Her family owned a Japanese bookstore in San Francisco. The Second World War brought racism that caused all Japanese on the West Coast in America to be placed in relocation camps (the U.S. government called them concentration camps). Of course, her family lost their store. A few years later Kiyo would end up marrying Huddy. He had been a combat soldier in the famous Division 442, a highly decorated all-Japanese unit in the WWII Army. Shi is holding her grandson Jordan's pet "Lucky." She was bought from a dog rescue mission.  Make a statement in any room with this framed poster, printed on thick matte paper.
